Customers use it to obtain an instant fixed price quote, book a private chauffeur transfer, pay securely, and track their driver. Our staff use the same application to manage bookings, drivers, vehicles and our own advertising.

The application connects to Google services on our own behalf. It uses the Google Maps Platform to calculate routes and distances for quoting, and the Google Ads API to report on and manage the advertising for our own Google Ads account only. It does not manage advertising for any other business, and it is not offered to, sold to, or usable by any third party.

Flights are tracked on every airport job, so an early or late landing simply moves the pickup. International arrivals carry 60 minutes of free wait and domestic 45, measured from wheels down rather than the timetable, immigration and baggage sit inside that window. Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal with a name board. That is standard on every airport transfer, not an upgrade.

• A job that starts in Queensland and finishes in New South Wales, yes. Gold Coast to Byron Bay is one of our most booked runs.
• A job that starts in New South Wales and finishes in Queensland, yes. Byron Bay to Gold Coast and Byron Bay to Brisbane run daily.
• A job that both starts and finishes in New South Wales, no. Ballina Airport to Byron Bay is the common example, and we will tell you rather than take the booking.

Mind the Clock Between October and April

New South Wales observes daylight saving and Queensland does not, so for roughly half the year Byron Bay runs an hour ahead of the Gold Coast, despite being an hour's drive away. It is the single most common cause of a missed transfer in this region, and it catches locals as often as visitors.

Every Unison booking is quoted and confirmed in the time zone of your pickup point, in writing. If you are flying out of Coolangatta on a summer morning from a NSW address, read the confirmation carefully.

Child Seats, Fitted and Free

Tell us the ages when you book and the right seats are in the car when it arrives. Most operators charge for these or decline to fit them, and a rideshare will not carry a capsule at all, which for a family arriving overnight is the difference between a transfer and no transfer. Q: Is the price really fixed?

A: Yes. The total quoted at booking is the total you pay, no surge, no late night surcharge, no toll add ons.

Q: How early should I book?

A: 24 to 48 hours ahead is ideal. We accept last minute bookings subject to availability, call 0401 605 940 if it's tight.

Q: Are you licensed?

A: Yes. We are a Queensland Booked Hire Service Licence holder (BHSL 258504) and Booking Entity Authority holder (BEA 260412), ABN 45 647 949 488.

Q: Do you operate in NSW?

A: We are a Queensland licensed operator and cross the border constantly, Queensland to NSW, and NSW back to Queensland. What we cannot accept is a job that both starts and finishes in New South Wales, such as Ballina Airport to Byron Bay.

Q: What does the price include?

A: Tolls, airport parking and access fees, GST and child seats. The figure quoted is the figure charged, at any hour of any day.

Q: Do you charge more at night or on public holidays?

A: No. We run 24 hours at the same fixed price, including 3am departures and red eye arrivals.

Q: How many people can travel in one vehicle?

A: Up to seven. A party of eight or more travels in two or more vehicles departing and arriving together, quoted as a single job.

Q: Can you carry surfboards, golf clubs or a pram?

A: Yes, tell us what you are bringing when you book so the right vehicle is allocated.

Q: What happens if my flight is delayed?

A: We track it and move with it. Free wait is 60 minutes on international arrivals and 45 on domestic, measured from actual landing, and there is no charge for a delay outside your control.

Q: Can I book a return at the same time?

A: Yes, and we recommend it for theme parks, race days and cruise terminals, the vehicle is waiting at an agreed point rather than you queueing with everyone else.
